How to Roast Spaghetti Squash

Have you ever wondered how to roast spaghetti squash. Or what to do with it, in general? When we eat at Ruby Tuesday's, we almost always get roasted spaghetti squash and zucchini as our sides. We love it, but I never really knew how to fix it or roast it - or what else to do with it. Then, I sat down and figured it out. It's actually very easy. I love this picture. The evening sun was coming in the window just right and made my spaghetti squash look just a little mysterious. That's kind of how I felt when I started to work with it. How is this thing going to make "spaghetti"? Start by cutting the "top" end off. This is the hardest part of roasting a spaghetti squash. It is TOUGH. So, get a good sharp knife and dig in (carefully though!) Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Put the whole spaghetti squash in the oven while it's preheating. Two Weeks with George, the Newfie Puppy

Two weeks with George, the Newfie puppy. I'm exhausted. But, looook at that face! **apologies for the pics...it was raining and dreary..and my trackpad on my Macbook Pro decided not to work, so was difficult to edit.....like seriously difficult, so it didn't really happen. LOL As puppies go, George is a dream. It takes so much energy just to be a growing Newf, that it doesn't take much to wear him out. But, he is still a puppy. Albiet it, a large one! He chews, he plays, he romps. He has accidents in the house - not often, but when he does, it's a river! He's into everything. If he's awake, he's in training. I will be the first to admit, there are times, when I think, "WHAT was I thinking?!?!?!" We brought him home on 6/14/14 at 7 1/2 weeks old. He went to the vet on 6/19/14, at 8 weeks and 1 day, for a wellness check. He weighted 12.4 lbs. He went again, exactly one week later, on 6/25/14, at 9 weeks and 1 day old,

Blogger Pictures Not Showing Up

I posted last week about getting in here to reorganize my blog and realizing that some of my pictures in some older blogs were missing. So, ya know, that took precedence and I was off hunting down where in the world my pictures went. I knew I hadn't done anything (like delete - gasp!). I searched and researched and hunted for an answer. I checked my Google+ photos and my Picasa photos. (In case you don't know ((which I didn't know)) Blogger doesn't actually host your photos. Even if you upload directly to Blogger, they are stored either on Picasa or on Google+ - and that's another blog post.) Anyway, I checked my Picasa albums and made sure all photos were set to "Public". I checked Google+ and made sure they were all good to go. Yep. All was a-okay on both of those. I'm a researcher and a thinker, so I spent the next week or so, checking this and that and then rechecking this and that. Take time to contemplate. Then rechecking again.
